As hinted by the name, SHOT Show has always primarily been a firearms showcase but, increasingly, it’s becoming more of a way for knife brands to set the tone for what to expect for the year.

This year’s show is in full swing with a handful of surprises. CRKT has stolen the spotlight at SHOT Show 2025 with its groundbreaking sheathless Provoke X tomahawk. Blackhawk followed up with the sleek SONAR automatic, while Al Mar teamed with TOPS to bring back the legendary SERE Operator. And that’s just scratching the surface…

Let’s do the damn thing!

Upcoming at BDEDC

Al-Bronze Malibu for Whatnot Giveaway

After a bit of a hiatus, I will go live on Whatnot on Wednesday at 7 PM EST. I’ll be digging into my personal collection of EDC gear and auctioning it off, as well as some spicy giveaways for followers and those who have purchased something during the show, like the Al-Bronze Pro-Tech Malibu pictured above.

Carry Commission Drop

Next week, Carry Commission will restock some crowd favorites—the OD green Hitchhiker wallet from Rustic Heirloom and the all-black (sans pearl button) Carry Commission-exclusive Topo Malibu in reverse tanto. It’ll also add a copper and brass toothpick holder to the repertoire for all you hygienic gents out there.

Carry of the Week

This knife recently came into my life and I love it! I picked it up from Sid Bones (@the_chiefs_edc). It was featured in your "heavily modded" video a while back. The light and pry are two pieces that I grab fairly often. The coin was sent to me with the knife and it's beautiful. I made the wallet and coin slip. The wallet was in collaboration with Vuus Gear.

Lately I've been pairing down my collection in an attempt to get my hands on some grails. This bugout is definitely one of them. I'm thinking about getting a cool pocket clip to match the vibe of the scales.
